Frequently asked questions

How much money will I get?

​

You’ll typically get half of the selling price. Unsold items are marked down over time. More than half of our inventory sells at the starting price!

What home furnishings can I sell?

​

We accept gently used furniture like sofas, bedroom sets, dining sets, office furniture, rugs, lamps (with bulbs), clocks (with batteries), mirrors, collectibles, and wall décor in current styles and colors.

When will I get my money?

​

Your check will be available for pick up on the 7th of the month following a sale. You can track your sales online anytime!

What other items can I sell?

​

We also accept tools, lawn & garden equipment, and other items valued at $40+ (final price must be at least $20).


 We typically do not consign clothing, bedding, pillows, or linens.

Consignment Guidelines

At Hart City Flea Market, we make consigning your furniture simple and stress-free. To keep things running smoothly for everyone, please review our consignment guidelines before submitting your items.

How to Submit Your Items

Email Submission Required:
Send an email to hartcityinfo@gmail.com with the following information:

  • Clear photos of each item.

  • Age and brand of the item.

  • Any relevant details (condition, materials, unique features).

  • Estimated or desired sale price.

Please allow 48 hours (not including weekends) for us to review your request. If you have not heard back from us within 3 business days, feel free to follow up with another email.

Drop-Off & Setup

Once your items are approved:

  • You must bring all items to the store yourself — we do not offer pick-up service.

  • You are responsible for setting up your items in the consignment area.

  • All items must be clean and gently used before being brought in.

  • If we need to move, assemble, or work on your items, a $40/hour service fee will apply.

Pricing & Sales

  • We may adjust prices over time to help your items sell.

  • Your items remain your property until sold or until the consignment period expires.

  • Although we take care to provide a secure environment, we cannot guarantee against fire, theft, or damage.

    • If you want coverage, contact your homeowner’s insurance provider for details on protection options.
